Masters Degree in Nutritional Wellness, Certified Health Coach and Mom to Three
I first came up with the idea for Frugal Family Nutrition when I took part in a Women's Accountability group on Facebook that offered a free meal plan for myself and my family for a week. That meal plan consisted of lots of tofu, kale and amaranth (none of which I'd had before). I realized quickly that those foods were not for me, nor would I be able to get my husband or kids to eat them. To top that, I spent triple my normal grocery bill that week to try to follow that meal plan. Healthy eating shouldn't be that hard, that expensive, or that unsatisfying.
From that experience I sought out a way to make healthy eating easier for me and my family by creating budget friendly meal plans and shopping lists that included healthy substitutions to improve the way we all were eating. I started running my own healthy eating accountability groups and sharing these meal plans with other women and their families that just wanted to start feeling better.
Fast forward several years and I now have my Master's Degree in Nutritional Wellness and am a Certified Health Coach. I am continuing to share my love of nutrition, and living frugally, by running accountability groups, offering health coaching sessions, and even offering to go for a virtual walk with you for motivation and talk. I'm passionate about this and know that you will be too. Join me.
